Lyra Instructor
Andrea
Born and raised in Colorado, Andrea started lyra early in 2021 and has found a love of circus and fitness because of it - let's lift heavy and get strong! As a larger aerialist herself, she strives to make classes accessible to all body shapes and strengths, emphasizing the mindset that if you learned a lot and had fun during class, then you had exactly the experience you were meant to. Andrea loves a challenge but understands that some moves take time and progressions to learn safely, and different bodies learn at different rates -- that's all okay because we are all learning together!

In pole class Melanie’s number one goal is fun and was the main reason she started taking pole classes in 2021. Just after the restrictions of the pandemic started lifting, she was looking for something new, and pole dance was a wonderful change of pace to the active duty life of the military. Melanie served in the Army as an officer and separated in 2022. Since then, she has found joy in both pursuing her dreams and helping others pursue theirs as well.
